Carolyn Sylvia Johnson, 77, of Olathe, KS passed away on March 19, 2022.
She was born on September 2, 1944 in Webster, South Dakota, the daughter of Charlton Page and Alvida Page (Bisgaard).
Carolyn grew up in Argentine, Kansas where she graduated from Argentine High School. Her weekends include hanging out with her friends and siblings and going to Memorial Hall to watch wrestling. She worked as a realtor and as a United States Post Office solicitor where she was praised by the Director as being an outstanding employee going above and beyond to make the community a better place. After retiring, she continued to do charitable work within the community and adopted her daughters, Aimee and Katlin. She had three children, Christian, Deanna, and Andrew Jr. She loved God, her church, her family, friends, her two dogs, Cuddles, Zoey, and a good BBQ sandwich. She was a loving mother and a caregiver all her life.
She married the love of her life, Andrew James Johnson; He preceded her in death in 1999.
Survivors include her son, Andrew Johnson Jr, (of Johnson); daughters, Aimee and Katlin Johnson; daughter-in-laws, Terri Johnson and Dianne; three sisters, Christina Daily (Archie), Colleen Jones (Doug), and Catherine Miller; brother, Chuck Page (Rita); five grandchildren, Mike, Ella, Sylvia, Logan and Andrew. Bonus daughter, Dominie Galvan, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, her husband, her daughter Deanna Johnson, her son Christian Johnson and her brother-in-law David Miller.
The Family will receive guests for a visitation from 5:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Penwell-Gabel's Olathe Chapel, 14275 S Black Bob Road. A private graveside service will be held in Lenexa, at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
