Carol Sue Schiltz

Carol Sue Schiltz, age 66, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Born on September 15, 1958, in Lawrence, Kansas, she was the beloved daughter of Wilford and Jacqueline (Dolifka) Reeves.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate, Dana Schiltz, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories.

She leaves behind a loving family: her children, Lucretia Schiltz, Mark Schiltz, and Julia Allen, who were her pride and joy. Carol was also a devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren: Anthony, Chyna, Jayden, Mikayla, Ava, Noah, Brooke, Asher, and Max, all of whom she adored and supported in every way possible. She is also survived by her brothers, Tim Reeves, George Reeves, and Rick Reeves, as well as her sisters, Cindi Reeves, Marsha Rogers, and Roxanne Daniels.

Carol had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. Whether she was cooking up a storm in the kitchen, baking treats for loved ones, or cheering her grandchildren on at their sports events, she brought warmth and love into every moment. Her heart was full of joy for life’s simple pleasures—particularly her love for the beach and the timeless music of Neil Diamond.

Carol’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
