Carol Suzanne Komsthoeft

Carol Suzanne Komsthoeft of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 69. She was born on February 15, 1953 in Kansas City. She was the firstborn of four daughters to Jean Ronald Sperry and Laura Lea (Love) Sperry. Carol married Peter Wilhelm Komsthoeft on January 17, 1982, in Kansas City. She enjoyed her family above all and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her.

Carol is survived by her husband, Peter; sisters Jeanine Hammond and husband, Steve, of Windermere, Florida, and Kathy Permenter of Dallas, Texas; children, Jenny Harris and husband, Drew, of Memphis, Tennessee, Chris Komsthoeft and wife, Beth, of Austin, Texas, Katie Stock and husband, Tyler, of Overland Park, Kansas, Tori Landavazo and husband, Adam, of Shawnee, Kansas, and Alex Komsthoeft of Bozeman, Montana; grandchildren Camille and Corinne Harris, Carolina, Kennedy, and Finnegan Stock, Theo, Porter, and Sadie Landavazo; and 10 nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Laura Sperry; son, Andy Sperry; and sister, Janet Oleksy.
