Carlton J. Ploof, Sr.
Carlton John Ploof, Sr. 79, of Olathe, KS (Formerly of Jonesville, NC). Passed away Thursday March 24, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Humane Society.
Carlton was born May 15, 1931 in Malone, NY. He served 22 years in the United States Army and supported our country in Korea. He will be remembered for his love of animals and his devotion as a husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mahlon and Lula Ploof, and two children Glenn Sambor and Karen Costa.
He is survived by his children; Gregore Sambor, Jr., Cheryl Wolfe, Carlton Ploof, Jr., Jonathan Ploof, Gary Ploof, Kenneth Ploof, and Andrea Hulse and their spouses. Former wife and friend Cleora Ploof. 21 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
