Carlo Capodieci
Carlo Capodieci, 94 of Overland Park, KS passed away Wednesday December 2, 2009 at Villa St. Joseph Nursing Home. Friends may call from 4-6 PM Sunday Dec. 6th at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe, KS, cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Odyssey Hospice or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
Carlo was born November 2, 1915 in Sicily, Italy to Francesco and Carmelina Capodieci. He was an accomplished musician and artist, he enjoyed painting up until his passing.
He was preceded by his parents, and a brother Antonio Capodieci.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years Mary Capodieci (Shickle-Cleary) of the home. One daughter Anna Capodieci-Boyle of Albany, NY. One son Steven Cleary and wife Heidi of Olathe, KS. Two Grandchildren Jared and Jessica Cleary, as well as one great granddaughter Hadley Booze. One sister Maria Capodieci, and two brothers Guisseppe Capodieci and Pietro Capodieci.
