Carl M. Wooderson, Jr., 68, of Williamsburg, KS (formerly of Olathe), passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008 in Williamsburg. The family suggests contributions to Midland Hospice in Ottawa, KS and/or The American Cancer Society. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Carl was born July 5, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri to Carl M. Wooderson and Pauline (Agnew). He was a graduate of Olathe High School and attended Emporia State University. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was the owner-operator of Olathe Plywood and Carpet for 47 years and owned businesses in Kidder, Missouri and Hiawatha, Kansas. He farmed in Johnson and Franklin Counties in Kansas. He married Mary Anne Trocosso in 1961 and they had a daughter Carlyn Pauline. His second wife was Joshline Ann Bates and they had two daughters; Paula Diane and Rachel Lee.
He was an Olathe "Old Settler", and a life member of the American Legion.
He leaves his daughters; Carlyn Pauline Wooderson-Enright, Paula Wooderson, and Rachel (Scott) Satterfield; grandchildren, Jesse Conn Enright, Cassie Marie Enright, Maggie Carlyn Enright, Dominic Marconi, Mason Wooderson, and Grace Reber.
