Brian Thompson

More sad news to share with our friends and family. Our brother, Brian Thompson, passed on Friday, February 28th, 2025. After going to the ER on Wednesday and learning that he had cancer in multiple organs, Brian opted to go home on Hospice on Thursday. He passed on Friday. It was three weeks to the day after our dad passed. 

He was born on November 21, 1962 in Greeley, Colorado. He was the fourth of six kids. He grew up in Olathe and graduated from Olathe High School. Most of his working years were in the service industry with his most recent job in Environmental Services, contracted to Honeywell. 

Outside of work, Brian played pool in a league for decades. He enjoyed Classic Rock and reading biographies on rock bands. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Erma, his father, Sam/Bill/Billy Sam, his sister, Teresa and his brother, Marshall/Mark. 

He is survived by his brothers, Tom and Brad, and sister Deana. Brian requested to be cremated. We will have a visitation for family and friends to share their condolences on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 5-7 pm at Community Bible Church at 1304 N. Parker Street, Olathe, Kansas.
