Brenda Lea Mudloff, 57, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2024 surrounded by family and friends.
Brenda was born on March 16, 1967, in Kansas City, Missouri to Dave and Kathleen "Kathy" (Schelske) Mudloff. She graduated from Olathe South High School and went on to graduate from Ottawa University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She worked at Johnson County Community College for twenty plus years, where she enjoyed helping students career plan.
Brenda was known to be "the hostess with the mostest" amongst her friends. She was very outgoing and never knew a stranger. She was a lover of boating and enjoyed spending her summers on the lake. Most importantly she was a kind, caring, and compassionate woman who was always there to listen.
Brenda is survived by her three sons Taylor (Brandon) Starling, Chandler (Kelsey) Starling, and Chase Greathouse, her father Dave Mudloff, sister Jenean (George) Cayot, sister-in-law Lori Mudloff, her niece and 3 nephews, Reese and Ty Cayot, Austin and Colton Mudloff, and numerous cousins scattered throughout the country. She was preceded in death by her brother Chad Mudloff and her mother Kathy Mudloff.
The family will be celebrating her life and mourning her loss in private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you love your family and friends and spend quality time together. We would like to thank Phoenix Hospice for their exceptional care in Brenda's final weeks of life.
