She had a passion for sewing which has provided clothing, curtains, and much more for family and friends. At the age of 100 she sewed hundreds of cloth masks during the early days of the pandemic when medical grade masks were in short supply.
She was married to Donald Rouse for over 64 years until his death in 2011. She is survived by her son Terry, step grand daughters Sarah Michaelsen and Carrie Williams, great granddaughters Moxie and Stella, great grandson Toby, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Her memorial service will be in the Cedar Lake Village complex in the Worship and Life Center 15329 S Lone Elm Road, Olathe, Kansas at 10 AM Saturday June 22.
