Bonnie "Yvonne" May, age 68, Overland Park, KS, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. The family suggests contributions to the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead.
Bonnie was born Feb. 5, 1940 in Kansas City, MO. She was a 1958 graduate of Ruskin Heights High School where she was the Drum Majorette.
She was a member of Shawnee Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Kenneth and Dorothy Ireland.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years; Leonard, her children; Paul R. May, Susan K. (John) Newson, Darrin A. May, and Beth A. (John) Reynolds, three cherished grandchildren; Andy, Emily Newson, and Christian Reynolds, and a brother; Kenneth David (Pam) Ireland.
Bonnie enjoyed traveling, having visited Alaska, Hawaii, and Europe. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and grandchildren and looking after family pets.
