Bonnie R. Johnson, 90, of Spring Hill, KS passed Friday Jan 26, 2018. Visitation will be 1-2PM Wednesday January 31 at Penwell-Gabel Olathe Chapel, followed by a service at 2PM. Burial at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Bonnie was born November 23, 1927, in Corbin, KS to Horatio and Edith Hardin. She moved to Clearwater, KS and was baptized at the Clearwater Christian Church. She graduated from Clearwater High School in 1945. In 1946, she married Dwight Robert (Bob) Johnson. After 32 years of marriage, they parted in 1978. In 2008, she moved to Spring Hill, KS to be near her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-sister Janice Peterson and her half-sister Ardith Craig Carroll.
She is survived by her daughter Michele (Shelli) Johnson Yost and husband Craig of Olathe, KS, her grand-daughter Traci Shannon Yost Kilmer and husband Sean of Flower Mound, TX.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.
