Beverly Ann Murray was born in Manhattan, KS to Carl and Margaret Johnson. She attended Kansas State University and was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. In addition to owning the Apple Seed Needle Point Shop in Olathe, Kansas, she was a former member of KC Young Matrons, Olathe Junior Service League and belonged to St. Aidan's Episcopal Church. Bev was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Murray, owner of Veterinary Clinics in Overland Park and Olathe. Bev leaves a daughter, Kim (Kerry) Miller, a son Matt (Jill) Murray, four grandchildren Sam (Lyndsey) Miller, Molly Miller, Cooper Murray, and Gunnar Murray, two great-grandchildren Colton and Ryan Miller, her sister Pat Schwensen of Clay Center, KS and her niece Meg Walker and nephew Chris Schwensen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Aidan's Episcopal Church in Olathe. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 4, from 6-8pm at the home of Matt and Jill Murray.
