BEVERLY LEE ELLIOTT
Age 81, of Overland Park, KS, died peacefully at her home May 20, 2008.
Beverly was born in St. Louis, MO on November 3, 1926 to Owen and Ethel Lee. She grew up in Brentwood, MO, and was a cheerleader at Brentwood High School. After college she married Robert Stahl and they moved to Bartlesville, OK. They had two children, Carol Anne and Bill. They traveled extensively through his position with Phillips Petroleum, and were avid skiers and golfers. While living in Belgium, they formed the Brussels Bridge Group of expats, who reunited every two years for twenty-seven years.
Three years after Robert's death, Beverly married Richard "Dick" Elliott. After Richard retired from Phillips, they maintained homes in Durango, CO, and Green Valley, AZ, where they enjoyed skiing, golfing, and travel cruises. In 2002, Beverly and Richard moved to Kansas City to be near family.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert, her son, Bill, and her daughter, Carol. She is survived by her husband, Richard, her brother, Owen Lee, her step-daughter, Cheryl Wilson, her step-son, Mark Elliott, and several step-grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
In honoring her wishes, no services will be held. The family suggests memorials to your local animal shelter.
