Betty Lou Haynes, 93, of Olathe, passed away on March 3, 2020 at the Healthcare Resort of Olathe.
She was born on January 10, 1927 to Paul and Golda (Chew) Reece in New Castle, IN.
Betty worked as a homemaker, raising her three sons. On December 1, 1946, she married Bill Haynes. Betty and Bill lived in Olathe, Kansas. She was a member of Kansas Laureate Alpha Psi and enjoyed family, traveling, and bridge club.
Betty is survived by her sons, Eric (Jeannie) Haynes, Scott (Terri) Haynes, Mark (Gwen) Haynes; grandchildren Kala (Cory) Niccum, Nathan Haynes, Michael (Levi) Kester-Haynes, Garret Haynes, Alexis (Alan Carrick) Haynes, Bobby (Andrea Lutz) Haynes, Sarah Haynes, and Andy Haynes; great-grandchildren Drake, Austin, Bella, and Madison Niccum, and Emily and Saoirse Haynes.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 6, 2020 from 1-3 PM at Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Olathe, Kansas.
A graveside service will take place in Spiceland, IN.
