Betty Blue

BETTY JEAN BLUE, age 75, of Olathe, KS, was taken home by our Lord and Savior on October 9, 2005 at 6:30p.m. while surrounded by her family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, at 2:00p.m. in the chapel of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, KS. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe, KS. Betty was born May 30, 1930 in Ponce de Leon, MO to Troy and Dorothy Cutberth. She led a full life, and will be remembered as the matriarch of a loving family and knew the glory of salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She leaves her three daughters, Dianne and husband Neil Rose, Olathe, KS, Jan and husband Richard Aumiller, Lakewood, CO, and Cynthia and husband Gregory Jones, Olathe, KS. They survive Betty through the dedication, memories and love she gave them. She is also survived by her siblings Phyllis and husband Tom Lawlor, Shchertz, TX, and Larry and wife Anne Cutberth, Springfield, MO, who were a testament to Betty's love of her family. Each of Betty's grandchildren; Craig and wife Rita Rose, Jeff Rose and Dee McMillin, Ali and husband Chris Sprague, Joshua Aumiller, Dillon and wife Angela Jones, Danielle and husband Jeff Hernandez, and Jeremiah Jones, and her great-grandchildren, Tylor Jaster, Tyler Jones, Jordan Jaster, Alexis Spague, Ryder Hernandez, Abigail Spague, Emme Jones, Raice Hernandez, and Sarah Jane Sprague will carry on the strength and love of their grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 57 years, Wesley C. Blue in April of 2005.
