Bette was born April 12, 1921 in Sioux City, IA to Alfred and Gladys Keil. She was married to John Pojunos on March 17, 1943.
Survivors include her son John (Marilyn) Pojunos of Olathe, KS, and daughter Becky Keil Pojunos of Tucson, AZ, and nephew Richard Pojunos of Sioux City, IA, grandchildren John P. Pojunos of Glendale, AZ, Shanen Schuster of Olathe, KS, Loren Pojunos of Tucson, AZ, great-grandchildren John P. Pojunos , Jr.,of Glendale, AZ, Kaitlyn Pojunos of Glendale, AZ, Ayden Schuster of Olathe, KS, and Carleigh Schuster of Olathe, KS, and two step-grandchildren Jeff and Kevin Danciak, and three step-great-grandchildren, Jason, Anna and Jake Danciak. Her husband, John, preceded her in death in 2002.
