Age 91, passed away November 25, 2017 at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 29th at 10:00 AM with the service to follow at 11:00 AM at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home located at 14275 Blackbob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062. The family suggests memorials to the Olathe Christian Church, 1115 S. Ridgeview, Olathe, KS 66062.

Beatrice (Bea) was born April 27, 1926 in Kansas City, Kansas to Raymond L. and Bertha I Gravatt. She attend school in Olathe until she married Leo (Cliff) Duffield, Sr on February 13, 1942 and they continued that marriage for over 65 years until his passing June 16, 2007. She enjoyed gardening, working in the church in many activities, and mostly spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Bea and Cliff were active members of the First Christian Church, First Presbyterian Church, and New Hope Presbyterian Church over the years. Most recently, she was a member of the Olathe Christian Church. She spent the last few years at Rose Estates assisted living residences at 127th and Antioch, Overland Park, KS.

Beatrice is survived by her children Leo Clifton Jr, (Janie) Duffield, Susie (Jim) Pietarila, and Douglas (Julie) Duffield. She also survived by her brother Eugene Gravatt of Scottsdale, Arizona and sister Marjorie Wooten of Lajunta, Colorado. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren; Kyle, Courtney, Charla, Kerry, and Kendra and 6 great grandchildren; Audrianne, Elisia, Garett, Kalynn, Kendyl and Blake. She was preceded in death by her daughter Vereta Mae Eisele, her sister Helen Barnes, her brother Paul Gravatt Sr, and brother Ralph Gravatt
