Barbara Yelick

Barbara J. Yelick, 71, of Olathe, KS passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 at home. Cremation is planned with a memorial service at a later date.

Barbara was born Feb. 24, 1943 in Omaha, NE to Raymond and Mary Wiysel. She graduated from Plattsmouth High school. Barbara was an avid reader of James Paterson books.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Donald L. Yelick and her sister Eileen Wiysel.
She is survived by her two daughters Cherie and Bruce Tafoya and Paula and Brian Delaine, 5 grandchilden; Amanda and Jordan Tafoya and Catherine, Donnie, Natalie Delaine. 2 great grandchildren Tanner and Brooklynn, her brothers Larry and Matthew Wiysel, and brother-in-law, Bruce Yelick.
Barbara loved to travel to California to visit her friends. Her sense of humor, smile and laughter will be missed.
Our Mom is at peace with the angels in Heaven with our Dad.
