Barbara Snaer

Barbara Ann Snaer of Gardner, KS, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 3, 2012 at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, KS. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 7 at 11:00am at Christ Community Church of the Nazarene, 21385 College Blvd, Olathe, KS where the family will receive friends an hour prior to service time. A graveside service will follow on Wednesday, February 8 at 1:00pm at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, KS. Memorials to Nazarene World Missions Society, 17001 Prairie Star Parkway,Lenexa, KS 66220.
She was born October 30, 1942 in Newton, KS to Arley and Anna (Franzen) Etter. Barbara graduated form Newton High School in 1961 and also attended Bethel College in North Newton, KS. She was employed with Southwestern Bell and AT&T for 35 years, retiring in 2003.
Her interests included spending time with family, reading, walking with friends, and playing with her grandson, Jacob. She especially enjoyed a trip to NYC with her cousin Judy. She is survived by her brother, Jim Etter of Newton, KS and her son Brian Snaer of Olathe.
