Barbara Rupp

Barbara Ellen Rupp went home to be with our Lord January 7, 2013. She was born January 27, 1940 in Chillicothe Missouri. Barbara was the most wonderful Mom, Grandma, and friend that anyone could ever ask for. She was one of the kindest people to ever walk this Earth. We will miss her big hugs, her wise advice and the way no one could enter her home without being fed. Everyone who met her was blessed by her caring spirit and loving soul. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend Larry Rupp, her son Bud Henshaw, daughter Elisabeth Ricci, and grandson Nathaniel Dyer. She is survived by her Daughter Phyllis (Jack) Smith of Tonganoxie KS, son Ron (JoAnn) Rupp of Chicago and daughter Christine Gunya of the home, and grandchildren Brittany Thompson, Sean Dodson, Cindy, Brittney, and Callie Rupp, Tony Dyer, Desiree (Abe) Harpel and Dani Gunya and two great grandchildren Orion and Sage Dyer. She was our rock, our strong foundation. Together with Dad they built a strong and loving family. She will live on in our hearts until we are together again in Heaven. There will be a private burial on Friday January 11, 2013. The family will open their hearts and home from noon to three on Saturday January 12, 2013 to honor her memory at the family home.
