Barbara Ann Locke, 70, passed away on August 7, 2024 at home in Olathe, Kansas.

She was born on May 6, 1954 to Edward Huckoby and Venita Crain in Olathe, KS.

Barbara worked as a Administrative Assistant for the City of Olathe for 31 years, until her retirement in 2012.

She was an avid T.V. watcher, and loved watching her soaps, Wheel of Fortune and the game show network. When was spending time with her family, she loved showing support to the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. She also enjoyed the game Spades and playing dominoes.

Barbara is survived by her loving daughters, Rachael (Le'Roi) Garcia, Andrea (Anthony Sr.) Gales, grandchildren Rashaun, Adrienne, Brayden, Le'Roi III, Anthony Jr and Amira.

Also survived brothers and sisters Gail, Steven, Ramona, Kenny, David Carol, Brad, Brent, Valerie, Eddie, Ricky. Brother's and sister's in love, Lee, Edward, Jewell, Belvia, Nedra, Debbie, Carlin. A host of nieces and nephews and cousins. And several long-time friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward Huckoby and Venita Burnett, and brother's Brian and Roy.
