She retired from Overland Park Police Department. She was a member of Olathe Christian Church, LaSertoma, and Girl Scouts of America.
Barbara is survived by her Daughter, Jan D. (Larry) Hewitt, Daughter, Kathy R. Saye, Son, Jay R. Nichols, Daughter, Polly A. (Mark)Lindblom, Granddaughter, Tiffany (Josh)Vogel, Grandson, Jason (Kellie) Hewitt, Grandson, David (Sarah)Lindblom, Grandson, Matthew (Misty) Lindblom, Granddaughter, Rachel Lindblom, 10 Great Grandchildren.
