Ardell Hronek

E. Ardell Hronek passed away from natural causes on March 29, 2022. Ardell was born January 9, 1946 in Salina, KS to Edward and Faith Hronek where he grew up with brother Dennis and sister Sharon. He graduated from Hutchinson Junior College, then moved to Wichita, KS where he met the love of his life, Carla Hronek. After getting married and moving to Kansas City, they were blessed with 1 daughter, 1 son, two grandchildren, 1 grand puppy, and several loving doggies of their own along the way.

Ardell carried himself with a spark of life. He was quick to crack a joke, play one on others, and known to be a little fun and a little ornery, especially with his brother (partner in crime). He loved camping, gardening, coin collecting, dancing, and spending time with his family, including those with 4 legs. He will be forever in the hearts of his family.

Services will be held Thursday, April 7th, at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home in Olathe, KS. Visitation at 11am, Service at 12pm, and lunch following the service all at the funeral home and ending by 2pm. We are wanting to keep to a small service, however, please feel invited to come pay your respects in person. If you would like to send your condolences, please have it delivered by April 6th end of day to the funeral home.
