Anne Lee (Huter) Baker, 74 of Spring Hill, Kansas passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, May 5th, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Piqua, Ohio on September 18th, 1946 to Cletus and Jean Huter (Schaferling) Anderson.
Anne had a courageous spirit and overcame any fear by "doing it". She taught aerobics, competed in body building, and took flying lessons (including flying solo). She earned her black belt in Tae Kwon Do and in her late 60's she fearlessly went skydiving. Her love for nature and animals knew no bounds and her reverence for all life ran deep. Anne grew up in Piqua, Ohio and graduated from Piqua Catholic High school in 1964. During high school Anne was a cheerleader, a majorette and she played the flute. After high school she began working in a dentist office eventually becoming a dental hygienist. Anne dated Lynn for several years and then married in 1966. They moved to Kansas City in 1968 and had two kids: John, born in 1968, and Jennifer, born in 1971. While in Kansas City, Anne continued her career as a dental hygienist and then later began working in the Veterinary business as a technician at Foxhill Veterinarian Clinic doing what she loved until retiring in 1999. She spent her retirement with her husband traveling the country in their motor coach, being in nature, drawing and enjoying time with family and friends.
