ANN MARY (CONN) THOMAS
Age 87, passed away April 30, 2009 in Olathe, KS. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Olathe Bible Church, 13700 W. 151st, Olathe, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Stroke Foundation, 5960 Dearborn St, Mission, KS 66202 or to the charity of your choice.
Ann was born January 30, 1922 in Saltsburg, PA to Chester and Bertha Conn. She was a resident of Sylvania, Ohio where she was an executive secretary for Hickory Farms, prior to returning to Latrobe, PA upon her retirement. In 2001, she relocated to the Olathe, Ks area to be with her daughter.
Throughout her lifetime, she was involved with Adelphi Village, the Red Cross, Meals on Wheels, and most recently the American Stroke Foundation and the Olathe Bible Church.
She is survived by her daughters Sue (Karl) Morgner, and Barbara (Jim Dirks) Grissinger, her grandchildren Christina, Jay, Jon, Michele, Tami, Mike, and Ben, and one great-grandson, Eli. She is also survived by her brother Frank Conn, and sister-in-laws Jean Conn and Lois Conn, and many nieces and nephews.
