ANNA "MARIE" KALTENBACH
Of Olathe, went home to be with the Lord, on September 20, 2008, surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14725 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, followed by a Celebration of her Life on Friday, September 26, at 10:00 a.m., also in the chapel of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to North Care Hospice House, 2900 Clay Edwards Drive, North Kansas City, MO 64116, or to Evangelistic Center Church, Missions Fund, 700 E. Loula Street, Olathe, KS 66061.
Marie was born August 24, 1935 in Tuppers Plains, Ohio to Worthy and Phoebe Westfall. She was married to Bob Kaltenbach on August 27, 1966 in Ravenna, OH, and eventually made their home in the Johnson County area in 1977. She devoted her life to caring for her family, and she particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Kaltenbach, her sons; David Partin, Donald Kaltenbach and his wife, Tiffany, and Arthur Kaltenbach and his wife Jean, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Ellie Barger and husband Robert, her brothers, Rodney Westfall and wife Cookie, and Colba Westfall and wife Maxine.
