Ann Wilson Rose, 62, of Olathe, passed away on October 5, 2019. She was born on October 6, 1956 to Walter and Gene (Massey) Wilson in Charlton Heights, WV.
Ann grew up in Ansted, WV, was a 1974 graduate of Ansted High School and received a B.A. in Secondary Education from WV Institute of Technology in 1980. She married Allen in February, 1975 and their adventure began.
She held various positions as the family moved around the country including teaching, working school cafeterias, and administrative positions. She recently retired from PRA Health Services in Lenexa, KS after 14+ years as a project associate.
She always enjoyed a glass of good wine in the evenings. Her favorite pastimes were cruising and cards with the family. She was an amazing mother and thoroughly enjoyed her role as MeMaw.
Ann is survived by her loving husband, James "Allen" Rose; children, Jennifer (Aaron) Carr and Nathaniel (Jacquelin) Rose; grandson, Jackson Carr; and brothers, Scott Wilson and Robert Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Wilson and Gene Wilson.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30pm on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Penwell Gabel's Olathe Chapel. Following the service, the family will receive guests for a visitation until 6:00pm.
Ann requested not to have flowers at her service. Please honor her wishes by making a donation in her memory to a charity of your choice.
