Kathy Smith, 53, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at her home surrounded by her children, Lisa and Scott, grand-dogs, Heidi and Molly and several close friends. Her peace with God was evident when two white doves appeared outside the window in her final moments carrying her soul into Heaven.

As an Account Manager for Coventry Healthcare, Kathy cared for her clients and co-workers as if they were her family. Although Kathy faced adversity throughout her life, her devotion to her children and friends provided her strength and courage to continue forward, while still maintaining her sense of humor. As a loving mother, she cared for us all, and as a special friend, she was there when we needed her. She gave her heart in everything she did and lifted everyone's spirits with her presence.

Friends are invited to join us in a celebration of her life with a visitation Sunday, March 18th from 2-4 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (143rd & Blackbob Rd).
