Angela Renea Richards, 44, of Olathe, passed away on October 24, 2021, at Olathe Medical Center.
She was born on September 28, 1977, to Frank and CharLaine (Boehm) Higgins.
Angela graduated from Shawnee Mission AEP in 1996. She worked as a machine operator at Deluxe Check for several years until retiring in 2009 to become a homemaker and care for her beloved daughters
On May 17, 2008, she married Dennis Richards and they made their home in Olathe. They enjoyed visiting the mountains and beaches, watching Nascar races, taking long drives, and going to church.
Angela is survived by her loving husband, Dennis, their daughters, Codi and Katie, her parents, Frank and CharLaine Higgins, her sister Cheryl Wichman, her husband Brian, and their sons Alex and Sam. She also had many other family members and friends that loved her as well.
Her visitation will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel in Olathe. The memorial service will follow at 3. The family requests that all guests wear masks, regardless of vaccination status.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
