Andrew Steven Weber was born March 8, 1984 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Drew passed away on September 16; 2021. Drew was a 2002 graduate of Olathe East High School and a 2006 graduate of Kansas State University. Drew graduated with a degree in Management Information Systems. He was most recently employed by Murphy Hoffman Corporation as an Inventory Planner.
Drew loved soccer and played as a youth with the Olathe Soccer club, the Hawk and Arsenal Independent Premier teams and played on the Olathe East High School team. He continued to play intramural soccer at KState and as an adult. He was a life long fan of Chelsea FC.
Drew loved playing board games and many card games such as Spades and Pinochle with his family and friends. Drew was a very smart and curious person who always had a smile on his face.
Drew is remembered by his older sister Lexi, my fondest memories of Drew are from when we were little and spent so much time together playing Micro Machines, Double Dare and Indiana Jones. Also when he let me put bows in his hair since I didn't have a sister to practice with. Drew was funny and smart and liked to play games. He thought it was so funny when I would get mad as he was winning the game. He loved to swim as a little boy he could swim across the pool underwater in one breath, even though he had asthma as a child. Drew was my little buddy when we were kids and always helped me get through tough times.
He was an amazing uncle to my 5 children. He played with them and chased them and they loved him so much. Drew was a very special person, and though I am so sad that I can't talk with him or play games with him anymore, I'm happy knowing that he is in Heaven and finally free of any struggles - either physical or mental that he had on Earth. I know I will see him again, and sweet will be our reunion, especially when I finally beat him at Dominion. I love you Drew.
Drew is survived by his parents Dan and Cheri Weber, maternal grandmother Louanne Emerson, maternal grandfather Jim Miller, step grandmother Carol Miller. Brother Ward Weber and sister Lexi Challis and brother-in-law Mitch Challis. Aunts and uncles Kim and Mike Murry, Jeni and Nick Liaros, Liz and Nate Stalhood. Five first cousins and seven nieces and nephews.
