Andrew M. Orth

Andrew M. Orth, 61, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born on May 8, 1963, in Duluth, Minnesota to Justin and Elizabeth (Dugan) Orth. 

Andrew grew up in Wichita, Kansas. He attended Bishop Carroll High School and graduated in 1981. Shortly after he moved to Olathe, Kansas. Andrew retired from Builders First Source, formerly KC Building Supply, after 28 years of service. Andrew met his wife Belinda in 2006 and married in 2013. Andrew became a stepfather and step grandfather to Belinda’s 3 girls and her grandchildren. Andrew enjoyed playing golf, going out on Friday evening to catch up with his friends and spending time with his grandchildren. 

Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Belinda Orth, his stepchildren Wendy (Jayme) McMahon Lucy Vantine (Dylan), Lena (Iain “Ryder”) Dow Step grandchildren Seamus McMahon, Cian McMahon, Eamonn McMahon, Greta Smith, Oliver Smith, Hudson Woods and Willa Dow, his sister Deborah Neises, his niece Elisabeth (Curtis) Goebel, his great nieces Sydney and Delaney his nephew Anthony (Paige) Neises and his nephew Michael Neises.

He was preceded in death by his father Justin “Cappy” Orth and his mother Elizabeth (Dugan) Orth.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Andrew’s memory be made to Bishop Carroll Catholic High School (Wichita, Kansas) or Wayside Waifs (Kansas City, Missouri).
