Alma Hauser

Alma Joyce Hauser of Olathe Kansas passed away December 29th 2013 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2nd 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe KS. Joyce was born July 14th 1933, in Iowa City Iowa. For the last five years or so she has resided in Olathe, KS and over the last 20 years she has been battling cancer and let it be known, she didn't let it stop her from enjoying her grandsons, granddogs, family, friends and taking vacations whenever she wanted too. She is survived by her son, Jerry Hauser of Spring Hill, KS; daughter, Joni Wixson of Olathe, KS; grandsons, Jeremy Hauser of Lakewood, CO; John Wixson of Kansas City, MO; Jeff Wixson of Olathe, KS; and brothers Cecil Anderson of Marion, IA; Henry Anderson of Elkhart, KS

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Olathe Hospice House, Olathe Medical Center Charitable Foundation, 20375 W. 151st, Suite 363 Olathe, KS 66061.
