Alice Katherine Alice Katherine "Katie" Goddard, 91, of Spring Hill, KS, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2005.
Katie was born to Alexander Majors Wells and Bertha Lea Burr on July 26, 1914 in Oxford Township (know as the Martin City Olathe Road or 135th street and State Line). She married Merritt Monroe Goddard October 20, 1936, and lived most of her life in the Olathe area.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years; Merritt, sister; Alexa May Custer, and a grandson Benjamin Goddard.
She leaves a son; Sterling A. Goddard and wife Katrina, daughters; Paula K. McCaskey and husband Wayne and Margo M. Shepard and husband Harold, 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and one great, great grand daughter.
