Alice Bauer

Alice L. (McHenry) Bauer, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2008, after a long illness. She was born in South Park, KS to Glen R. McHenry and Fern O. McHenry. Mrs. Bauer was a long time resident of Olathe and a member of Faith Baptist Church for the past 36 years. Her husband, John V. Bauer, preceded her in death. Mrs. Bauer is survived by four sons, John M. Bauer of Ellsworth, Timothy J. Bauer of Lenexa, Dennis L. Bauer of Drexel, MO, Alan G. Bauer of El Paso, TX; one daughter Brenda L. Hook of Butler, MO, and 13 grandchildren; Becky, Gloria, Julie, Steven, Matthew, Keith, Robert, Daniel, Chelsea, Christina, Christopher, Marissa, and Jennifer; and four great-grandchildren, Celeste, Adriana, Kelsey, and Paige; three sisters, Fern Sparks of OR, Glenna Howard of OR, Donamarie Morse of TX; three brothers, Glenn McHenry of SC, Ronald McHenry of OR, and Marion McHenry of TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
