Al Crawford, 67, Louisburg, KS, passed away at his home Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008. The family suggests contributions to the church.
Al was born in Long Pine, Nebraska, living in Olathe for 26 years before moving to Louisburg. Al's career began at the former King Radio in Olathe (now Honeywell) where he worked for 39 years before retiring in 2005. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Olathe for 37 years where he had served as both an Elder and Deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Isabelle Crawford.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty; his children, Greg (Gina) Crawford, Rod (Pam) Crawford, and Teresa Crawford, sister, Sheryl Stouffer, grandchildren, Alex, Nick, Katie, Maggy, and Max.
His passion was restoring old Ford cars and tinkering in his garage. He also enjoyed his time at the grandchildren's ballgames and events.
