Alfred Eugene Bell, Sr.

Alfred Eugene Bell, Sr., 88, of Leawood, KS (formerly of Olathe, KS) passed away April 15, 2020.
He was born on January 9, 1932 to Grover and Berth (Miles) Bell in Olathe, KS.
Alfred was employed with the Olathe Police Department for 10 years, and the Johnson County Sheriff's Office for 17 years. He retired in 1987.
On July 3, 1997, he married Lucresie (Neal). Alfred and Lucresie were blessed to enjoy 23 wonderful years together.
He was a long-time member of the Church of the Living God in Olathe, KS.
Alfred is survived by his loving wife, Lucresie, his son Marcus Bell, his daughter Tonja Bell, and step-son Thaddeous Hill, Jr., five grandchildren: Marlon Bell, Alfie Bell, Eric Downs, Jalen L. Hill, and Tre Hill, III.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Shirley (Robinson) Bell in 1996, his grandson Dennis Bell, his son Alfred Bell, Jr., his brothers George Bell, Grover Bell (Dorris), and James Bell (Marjorie), and sisters Valenstine Berry and Millie Bell.
Private services will be held, April 25, 2020. Burial will take place in the Olathe Memorial Cemetery.
The children would like to request memorial contributions to the family, in care of Lucresie Bell.
