Albert Nowakowski

June 22, 1945 — July 18, 2012

Albert John Nowakowski went to be with our heavenly father on July 18, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Albert was born on June 22, 1945 and was the son of the late Paul and Ursula Nowakowski of Chicago, Illinois. Albert served his country with honor and distinction as a member of the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. Albert was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and worked in the food industry his entire career.

Albert was married to the true love of his life Patricia Bialobrzeski Nowakowski for forty six years. The bond between them endured to the very end and was unwavering in its love. This marriage produced three magnificent children Daniel Nowakowski of Memphis, Tennessee, Kristen Nowakowski of Denver, Colorado, and Mark Nowakowski of Overland Park, Kansas. Each of them gave Albert so much pride and joy throughout his life. Albert is also survived by his sister-in-law Janice Foley and her husband Jim from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina along with several nieces and their families. At the time of his death Albert had a special girlfriend, his pet poodle (Maddie) who he loved so very much and who loved him back.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the University of Kansas Liver Transplant Program.
