HOENK, AGNES HANSON
Age 90, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away January 26, 2008 . She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest J. Hanson, her second husband George P. Hoenk, and ten siblings.
She engaged in professional activities including working as a licensed broker for Waddell and Reed, fund raising for the All Faith's Chapel at North Dakota State Hospital, and was President of the North Dakota Chapter of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was an avid bridge player, and truly enjoyed socializing with her family and friends.She was also a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Dr. E.Jerome Hanson(Mary Anne) of Leawood, and Stephen H. Hanson of Overland Park, two grandchildren; Christopher J. Hanson (Katrina) of Westwood, KS, and Elizabeth D. Ransford (Shawn) of Charleston, South Carolina and three great-grandchildren.
Following a private family memorial service, interment will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to Continua Hospice, 7611 State Line Road, Suite 202, Kansas City, MO 64114.
