Aaron Michael Kranker

Aaron Michael Kranker, 55, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022. Aaron was born on February 23, 1966, in Pittsburg, KS, to Don and Gay Kranker. Aaron attended Pittsburg State University where he later moved to the Kansas City area to begin work and start a family.

He was most recently employed with Kiewit Power Constructors, and was a long-time member of the Local # 533 Pipefitters Union.

Aaron was hardworking, thoughtful, and charismatic. He was passionate about his work and enjoyed being able to travel to California, Michigan, and Illinois to do so. He met many people along the way, some of which remained his greatest friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting. Aaron rooted for the Chiefs every Sunday, loved to spend time with his children, Ashden, Adam, Abby, and Andrea, and loving on his pups, Bear, Chester, and Zoey.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Kranker, and two daughters, Ashden and Andrea Kranker. Aaron is survived by his mother, Gay Kranker, his sister, Kelly Kranker, his two children, Adam and Abby Kranker, and many other loved ones.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 1:00pm, at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Rd, Prairie Village, KS 66208, with visitation offered at 12:30pm.

Private burial at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Aaron's name to Village Presbyterian Church or to the American Cancer Society where donations will fund lifesaving research and help cancer patients get the support they need.
