Susan K. Card, 49, Olathe, KS, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at her home. The family suggests contributions to the University of Kansas Cancer Treatment Center, 2330 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Suite 210, Mailstop 5003, Westwood, KS 66205.
Susan was born April 25, 1962 in Wilkinsburg, Penn. She lived in Rialto, California from 1963 to 1999 when she moved to Olathe, KS. She married Michael P. Card March 12, 1983. She had formerly worked at Big Lots and Walmart in Olathe. She was a homemaker for many years where she was dedicated to taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by daughter; Vanessa Renee Russo and sister; Deanne Michelle Moore.
She is survived by her husband Michael "Pete" Card, children; Dona Moreno of Miami, Fl, Jason Card of Olathe, Michael Card, Jr. of Olathe, and Summer Deanne Card of Olathe, Parents; Walter F. Moore, Jr. and Donna L. Moore, grandmother; Helen Hill, sister; Margie Springfield of Olathe, brothers; Buddy Moore and Tom Moore, 7 grandchildren; Breanne, Kristen, Kayla, Madelyn, Christie, Tyler, and Chad, and her long time childhood friend Tracy Boux.
