Venita Marie Burnett

Venita Marie was born July 30, 1939 in Cameron, Missouri to John Crain and Thelma Marie Tapp- Berry. She was the middle child of three.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age and has been an avid and faithful member of Second Baptist of Olathe for over 50 years. While attending church she served as on the Usher board and enjoyed her time doing that.

She became a mother at young age, while enjoying her time being a mother of 9 children. She was a homemaker. Through the years she had various jobs in the food and beverage industry. She would also take pleasure babysitting neighborhood children and her own grandchildren as well.

Venita is preceded in death by William "Coach" Burnett & Raymond Burnett, John Crain(Father), Thelma Tapp-Berry(Mother), Barbara Barrow(Sister), Wesley Crain, Sr.(Brother), Jamila Burnett(Granddaughter).

Her memory will be cherished by her nine children: Barbara Locke, Gail Burnett, Ramona(Wardell Sr-Deceased) Lewis, Steven Burnett aka Drac, Kenneth Burnett, Carol(Larry) Moore, David(Diane) Burnett, Bradley(Sarah) Burnett, Brent(Cherie) Burnett. Twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
