Kimberly (AKA Kimmer) Gifford, 59, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away suddenly on August 31st.
Kimmer was born on July 6, 1963. She brought so much joy and laughter to all who knew her. She never met a stranger. Her laugh was contagious, and her voice carried for miles. All who knew her, loved her dearly.
Kimmer fell in love with Renaissance Festivals. She attended the Kansas Renaissance Festival for many years. She enjoyed the atmosphere that the festival had; the music, the comedy, the clothing, the people and everything under the sun. She was a true Renny.
In 2004, she met Adam Gifford and the two were inseparable from that point on. Kimmer & Adam were married for over 16 years and had a blended family. Kimmer with John and Kellyn, then Adam with Taylor and Jordan.
Kimmer was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved all her children dearly. Once her kids became adults, she seamlessly became an amazing grandmother. She loved her grandchildren to a fault. She also soon became the neighborhood grandmother, adopting all the kids in the neighborhood. She truly enjoyed being a grandma to all.
Kimmer was proceeded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Bill and Kelvin Bigley. She is survived by her husband, Adam Gifford, and her two surviving siblings Cora Bunselmeyer and Keith Bruder, her two children, John Bigley and Kellyn Todd (Bigley), two stepchildren, Jordan and Taylor Gifford, and her seven grandchildren Raylynn, Jyden, Balian, Carson, Jackson, Olliver and Knox.
There will be a private family viewing at Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptionsin which you are welcome to send flower to; 14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062 by 12 pm September 4th. The viewing will be by invitation only. There will be a memorial service held at the Kansas City Renaissance Fair from 5pm-7pm on Sunday September 4th. To attend the Memorial service please proceed to the Renaissance Fair Main Enterance Will Call and let them know you are there for the "Kimberly Gifford Memorial".
