Cole A. Johnson, 26 of Kansas City, MO (formerly of Leawood, KS) passed Monday January 25, 2021.

Cole was born July 25, 1994 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Brett and Cheryl Johnson. He moved to Leawood, KS when he was eight years old and attended Blue Valley North High School graduating in 2012. Afterwards he attended the University of Kansas School of Business and became a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Cole was family oriented, a loyal friend and had a great sense of humor. He was an avid card player and loved sports especially the Kansas City Chiefs, KU basketball, and Iowa football. Cole and his family attend Advent Lutheran Church in Overland Park.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Charles and Ann Ellingson, paternal grandfather James A. Johnson and uncle Carmen Ellingson.

He is survived by his parents Brett and Cheryl Johnson of Leawood, KS, his sister Breanna Johnson of Lawrence, KS, grandmother Nancy Dutton of Cedar Rapids, IA and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and host of friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wayside Waifs (animal shelter) and/or Ability K.C..
